Bus Power and the USB Interface
- USB does not supply enough power to reliably operate the new, larger drive capacities over 120GB. Some systems may work with models larger than 120GB models, for others an optional power supply is available. FireWire 800/400 has no such deficiency when used with a powered FireWire port.
