SRAM PCMCIA Memory PC Cards Fixed Battery SRS Series
Synchrotech's line of PCMCIA SRAM PC Cards eliminate the need for periodic purchasing and changing of batteries. These SRAM cards feature a built in lithium ion battery that recharges when inserted into a PC Card slot. Depending on the capacity of the card, the batteries in these SRAM memory cards can go between five to six months before requiring recharge. These fixed battery models have improved access times of 150ns and a nearly equivalent range of capacities over our previous PCMCIA SRAM PC Cards. The cards are compatible with nearly all known PCMCIA SRAM PC Card applications and feature a write protect switch for preventing inadvertent erasure. The card's rigid stainless steel construction withstands harsh environmental conditions. Like all PCMCIA SRAM PC Cards, Synchrotech SRS Series SRAM cards are available with 2K attribute only. There are no non-attributed version of the SRS Series SRAM PC Cards.

Glossary
About Attribute (2K Attribute)- For devices that don't support the full Card Services standard, this CIS-like 2KB storage tuple essentially informs the device what type of card has been inserted and in cases of storage cards, the capacity of the card. SRAM and Linear Flash are examples of cards that are available with or without a 2K Attribute. Types of devices that require attribute are usually lab equipment, embedded systems, PDAs and the like. For the most part, notebook computers support Card Services, and hence don't require attribute. When in question, check your device's documentation or contact you device manufacturer.
- The advertised memory capacity of this device represents unformatted capacity. Please note that once formatted and due to variations in addressing limitations, the functional storage space may be lower than the advertised capacity.
