Synchrotech's USB 2.0 Multi-Card Read-Writer offers unmatched versatility in a consumer memory card reader. This easy to use device provides three multipurpose slots and accepts the following media cards; xD-Picture Card, SD Card, Mini SD Card, MultiMediaCard, Reduced Size MultiMediaCard, Type I and II CompactFlash Storage Cards including Microdrives, 3.3V SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, and Memory Stick Duo. The 12 in 1 features an unique sliding door for the SD and MultiMediaCard slot to eliminate reading errors. This is industry first innovation ensures hassle-free operability. Furthermore, the Multi-Card allows simultaneous use of slots to be in use simultaneously for reading, writing, and even transfers between media!
The device utilizes the speedy USB 2.0 bus for transfers to host computers of up to 480Mbits/sec. (2.0 connections only). The reader is fully compatible with USB 1.1 equipped systems adjusting to the lower bus speeds automatically. The cross-platform unit draws power from USB and you can hot swap cards in the reader or the reader on your device bus.
