This high performance PCIe to USB 3.0 host adapter is priced to replace USB 2.0 adapters. Fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1, the PCI Express to USB 3.0 Host Adapter 3+1 Ports U-940 provides all the benefits of the more modern standard. With transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps the x1 PCIe to USB 3.0 adapter provides three external, and one internal USB 3.0 Type A connectors. A Molex style electrical connector, when connected to system power, allows to the card to provide extra power, up to 900mA at ports.
