Synchrotech SD Card Secure Digital Memory Cards
Synchrotech's SD Cards are economical and feature excellent performance. Choose the 30X speed cards for general purpose usage or medium resolution digital photography. The 60 and 150X cards are excellent for high resolution digital photography and other performance demanding applications.
SD Cards provide enhancements over MultiMediaCard including a high performance nine pin serial interface. They also feature a write protect switch. Major improvements in electrostatic discharge tolerances add increased data protection. All of these improvements come with only a slight increase in card thickness and weight, allowing for higher storage capacities. SD Cards are ideal in low power, small form factor applications including MP3 players, smart phones and digital camcorders. SD Cards include a proprietary cryptographic security scheme for copyright enforcement, which entities with DRM interests consider a 'feature.'
