PCI Express to Serial ATA (eSATA II/300) 2/2 Port +PATA Host Adapter
Harnessing the powerful PCI Express capabilities on modern motherboards, the x1 PCI Express to Serial ATA +PATA host adapter allows connections to SATA II and eSATA devices including hard disk drives, RAID enclosures, and other SATA enclosures. The PCIe card provides two internal SATA and two external eSATA connectors while jumpers on board the PCB allow choice of any two of the four SATA ports. The device is fully Supports Serial ATA Generation 2 Transfer Rate of up to 3.0Gbps, provides NCQ with dual DMA channels with separate buffering, and works cable runs of up to 2 meters for eSATA applications. The card also features an internal PATA connector on a separate channel for use with up to UDMA6 ATA133 style drives. The PCIe to SATA II card comes with a BIOS level utility to utilize RAID 0, 1, 0+1 or JBOD. The PCI Express to Serial ATA 3.0Gbps device is backwards compatible with SATA I devices and is supported under Windows 2000, XP (32/64 bit) and Server 2003 (32/64 bit).
