PCI Express to Parallel I/O More Like This Harnessing the powerful PCI Express capabilities on modern motherboards, this x1 PCI Express to dual Parallel I/O card adds two fast 25-pin parallel IEEE 1284 ports with Standard Parallel Port (SPP), Enhanced Parallel Port (EPP), and Enhanced Capability Port (ECP) capabilities for connecting to printers, scanners and other parallel port equipped peripherals. The PCIe card is a true host adapter with a built in multi-I/O controller for maximum IEEE 1284 compatibility. The Parallel (LPT) ports offer data transfer rates up to 1.5 Mbps.
