PCI to X25 More Like This The FarSync T2U PCI 2.2/PCI-X to X.25 Network Adapter 2 Port provides high performance, versatile, and extremely reliable X.25 connectivity for Linux and Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003. These competitively priced host adapters provide RS232C, X.21, RS530 and V.35 network interfaces at line speeds of up to 8.448 Mbits/s (E2) for Windows XP, 2000, Server 2003 and 2.048 Mbits/s for Linux. The hardware is accompanied with a range software including: full driver support, monitoring/statistical software, and a comprehensive development package with full source code, documentation and examples for a wealth of APIs. Linux API support includes Sockets, Java, Network Control Block (NCB), Triple-X PAD, and ISO transport layers (ISO 8073). Windows API support includes Sockets (WinSock2 and .NET), Java, COM Port, NCB, and LAP-B Layer 2 (HDLC).

The Windows software features ISO Transport (classes 0 to 3), IP over X.25, support for OpenFT FTAM. Up to 4095 connections per line can be supported using the FarSync X25 High Capacity Pack or 254 per line as standard. Linux kernels versions 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 are support including distributions like Redhat, SuSE, Mandrake, Debian, Fedora, Slackware and more. SMP (multi-processor) systems are supported. X.25 Switch software for Linux is available for free download which runs as a daemon providing X.25 connection switching functions.
