Synchrotech's high performance ExpressCard 34 to two portExternal Serial ATA allows connections to eSATA II devices including hard disk drives, RAID enclosures, and other SATA enclosures. The device is fully Supports Serial ATA Generation 2 Transfer Rate of 3.0Gbps, provides dual DMA channels with separate buffering, and works cable runs of up to 2 meters. The adapter supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Non-zero offsets NCQ, and Out-of-order data delivery NCQ. The Serial ATA ExpressCard is supported under Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003. Access External Serial ATA devices at speeds up to 3.0Gbps (300MB/sec). The ExpressCard features a ruggedized form factor in which the ports are integrated via the extended card form factor, and its low power requirements won't burden a laptop's batteries.
