IOFlex's multifunction TV card provides Windows PCs with a broad range of features. Starting with the ability to view up to 181 channels via CATV/VHF/UHF sources, the IOFlex card turns a PC into a television with a full function remote. Capturing video from TV reception or composite or S-Video analog sources like a VCRs or video cameras is a snap. The card supports NTSC, PAL or SECAM video formats and sports the capability to capture video as AVI at up to 30 frames per second. The device also supports software teletext decoding for teletext viewing and VBI data capture.
IOFlex's multifunction card also provides FM radio band coverage from 87.5 to 108 MHz and the ability to record the signal. Radio tuning and volume are also accessible via the remote control. ITU H.324 standard compliance allows the card to support video conferencing when used in conjunction with appropriate hardware and software like MS Netmeeting. The card works with nearly all current Microsoft operating systems, and when used with a sound card, provides a full featured Audio Video PC solution.
