UltiFire-2 FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 Combo Hard Drives
Synchrotech's UltiFire-2 FireWire® 400 and USB 2.0 Combo Hard Drives combine an aluminum case design with the latest Hitachi drive mechanisms. Available in a broad range of capacities, these workhorse drives provide an easy way to add fast mass external storage to Windows PCs and Macs. No need to open cases or set jumpers, just plug the drive into an available FireWire® or USB 2.0 port and it is ready to go. Featuring the latest generation of Prolific's PL3507 bridge technology, these drives provide throughput of up to 38MB/s sustained reads and 34MB/s sustained writes using FireWire®. The sturdy and attractive case adapts to both horizontal and vertical orientations. The drive includes a single USB 2.0 port and two FireWire® 400 ports.
